E4 Manufacturing

The Japanese are well known for their manufacturing quality, so you can have confidence that the units are manufactured to the highest standards. Each E-Four unit is hand made by specialist craftsmen.

The material used in construction is crucial to its efficiency, the high conductivity copper used in our windings is not wire or strips as used in transformers or other so called energy saving devices. Our windings are wide sheets of copper which are ‘cold rolled’ - a process which is uniquely Japanese and recognised as an advanced manufacturing innovation.

High purity copper has been available for many years but innovations in Japan and the manufacturing process allow the unit to have very little impedance.  As the unit has no moving parts, there is no need to cool it – so there is no fan or cooling device built into the unit or attached, which you will find with other sub optimal energy saving technologies.

The magnetic core of the unit is constructed from flaked silicon steel and buried in an epoxy. These design features are critical to ensuring the unit achieves its 99.9% efficiency from 15% loading. Our technology is subject to various patents and cannot be replicated.
